4th of july in south carolina

what a trip! it was so nice to get away for a while. south carolina is beautiful. we (jay, jill, gardner, shannon, lorri and me) did 3 days in charleston and 3 days on fripp island, which is between charleston and hilton head. fripp was a great place, very different from any beach i had been to previously, which made it special. it was beautiful, and wow, what a quaint little resort fripp is!! there were deer everywhere, they would come right up to us in the golf cart (our transportation on the island)...oh, and there were gators in the ponds on the golf courses!!! ahhh! charleston is so historical and fun...spectacular food!! ; )
