wow. i have a car seat in my backseat and finally bought my fave petunia pickle bottom diaper bag in "misty shanghai" (those names crack me up). i'm a mom, just short a baby in hand. this is so weird.
i'm 38 weeks pregnant, kids. and yes, i have had plenty of the warning signs i hear about and know that this little boy is on his way, but, i'm not, in fact, in labor. so, we will just wait this out together. :) jay and i are taking walks every night to hurry this process along, and sometimes i swear i'm going to keep walking all the way downtown, straight to the hospital, in the hopes that by the time i arrive, he will be ready.
but seriously, things are good. i've had so many friends have babies in the last few days/weeks, (congrats to the trull, taylor, oneill, powell, and fogarty families...am i forgetting anyone??) which is making this whole waiting thing extra exciting! link, little buddy, don't you want to come meet your new friends and your mama???
hope to report some exciting news soon!
*side note: car seat question - do they go in the middle of the backseat?? we were thinking it would be easier to get in and out from one of the side seats of the car, but then we were thinking maybe they are supposed to go in the middle for extra safety? thoughts?

come on link!! i'm anxiously waiting to hear yall's news. can not wait for you. it's incredible, and you will find it hard to believe you are a mom even after he is here! at least i do ;-)
we have hank's carseat in the middle too. i googled it before installing and read that it was the safest place. plus, it makes it easy to sit next to him if you want to.
ditto kinsey. we had lily in the middle. of course when you have two, they both go on the outsides, so i don't think it really matters all that much in the end :)
i liked having her in the middle so i could reach behind and pop a pacifier in her mouth. here's hoping your kid likes the car more than lily did! :) heehee
and you are forgetting someone- the massengales had their boy!
thanks ladies. we have officially moved the car seat to the middle position. locked and loaded. : )
Oh how exciting!!! I'm praying for you and can't wait to hear the big news of his arrival! Love to you all!
